Believing negative self thoughts can be devastating throughout a person’s life.  Recognizing the origin of these thoughts and knowing they are optional is an Emotional Intelligence skill underdeveloped in many. This is especially true for children.

Eli Alsdorf grew up with Asperger's, dyslexia and a challenging father.  He entered adulthood with a big collection of negative self thoughts that brought on debilitating anxiety and self harm.  Determined to change his life for the better, Eli started a self healing journey.

Now Eli is doing his part to create a better outcome for kids and adults.  He creates comics under the name Alex Gojo to help children and adults talk about hard topics.  He recently started a Facebook page for Alex Gojo to make these comics accessible to all who need it.

Eli joins us to share his story, what he has learned and his aspirations to help others.  In this episode you’ll hear directly from Eli

  • The importance of validating feelings
  • Humanizing people & our inner gremlins
  • Numbing the pain vs. talking about it
  • Self Acceptance
